A household name insurance client is seeking to appoint a Data Scientist into their Group Advanced Analytics team. They are looking for a junior applicant who has experience in Data Analytics or Data Science role, ideally within financial services.

The Role:

The role is focused on supporting a range of teams, specifically the pricing teams through the provision of solutions derived from machine learning, statistics and data mining. The role is dynamic and will expose the successful applicant to behavioural modelling and predictive insights for underwriting.

The requirements:

- A STEM university graduate

- An innovative thinker, with the ability and willingness to provide solutions in a fast paced insurance environment

- Ideally, programming experience of R, Python, MATLAB and SAS / SQL.

- A strong communicator
