QA Test Engineer / Software Test Analyst (Manual Automation JIRA Agile). Are you an inquisitive technologist looking to advance your career and further your knowledge of real-time trading systems? You could be joining a City based trading firm and helping to ensure the accuracy and quality of complex real-time Pricing and Risk systems.

Working in a dynamic Front Office trading environment you will define and execute test cases in a systematic and logical way, raising defects and preparing reports on test coverage as well as conducting regular regression testing across all Pricing / Risk and Quantitative strategies, producing and maintaining regression test packs. You'll mainly be using test automation techniques but will also get involved with manual testing where appropriate.

You'll be working in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright and spacious offices with a peaceful work environment and flexible working hours (37.5 hour week).

Requirements:

Strong QA testing background with a broad knowledge of test best practices

Experience in a financial services environment

Experience of using JIRA or similar

Ability to script with Python, bash or similar

Basic understanding of Java

Logical mindset with strong analysis and problem solving skills

Experience of working in an Agile Scrum team

Collaborative and keen to learn / share ideas
