Senior Test Analyst / Lead Software Tester (Manual / Automation JIRA Agile). City based trading firm is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to help ensure the accuracy and quality of complex real-time Pricing and Risk systems.

As a Senior Test Analyst you will partner with BAs, Software Developers and other Test Analysts to review business and technical requirements and prepare test cases in an Agile, Front Office trading environment. You'll define and execute test cases in a systematic and logical way, raising defects and preparing reports on test coverage as well as conducting regular regression testing across all Pricing / Risk and Quantitative strategies, producing and maintaining regression test packs. You'll mainly be using test automation techniques but will also get involved with manual testing where appropriate.

As a senior member of the team you will help to mentor more junior Test Analysts and help to drive best practice.

You'll be working in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright and spacious offices with a peaceful work environment and flexible working hours (37.5 hour week).

Requirements:

Extensive QA testing background with a broad knowledge of test best practices

Experience in a financial services environment, ideally Front Office trading

Experience of using JIRA or similar

Ability to script with Python, bash or similar

Basic understanding of Java

Logical mindset with strong analysis and problem solving skills

Experience of working in an Agile Scrum team

Collaborative and happy to mentor / share knowledge with others
