My Edinburgh based client is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to come in on an initial 12-month contract. This role will cover several areas across monitoring, virtualisation, backup and DevOps. You will be responsible for the performance of the team's infrastructure platforms.
The key skills for this role are: Linux (Red Hat preferred)VMwareCiscoAgileDisaster recoveryData centre management
This role would be ideal for someone who has experience of working in a DevOps environment covering several Agile teams. You will be a driven individual who can manage your own workloads whilst being a fantastic team player.
The desirable criteria for this role are: Experience with DevOpsAWSSAN management and design experienceCoding ability (Powershell/PowerCli)Python experienceCertified CCNA/CCNP
