This world-leading organisation provides information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. The successful Database Experts will conduct academic and applied research, advance state-of-the-art in related fields, collaboratively develop advanced products and services with other groups in the company, as well as build high-performance, high-availability core competencies of database.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee the distributed database platform and product design, development and testing.

* Responsible for the industry-leading cloud-to-terminal kernel database development, based on operating system kernel technology to build high-performance core competitiveness.

* Responsible for distributed database platform architecture design.

* Explore new technologies in the field of database kernels and building long-term competitiveness.

Essential Requirements:

* Proficient in C/C++ programming.

* Familiar with Linux environment programming.

* Experience in using one or more general-purpose databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, SQL Server, ChronosDB, etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

* Participate in MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and other database open source communities.

* Experience in operating system and file system development.

* Coding experience of database field, familiar with SQL and storage engine priority.
