Our client is an engineering consultancy who are supplying SQEP to a large engineering division of the UK MOD.

the role requires a minimum of SC clearance and is going to be working in the maritime/submarine domain. Any experience of working within the domain will be invaluable.

Job Description

Frequently provide 'specialism' leadership related to their technical area to solve complex problems. ?

Conduct technical planning and review activities. ?

Support design reviews. ?

Lead on the development of requirements related to their area of specialism including acceptance plans, performance criteria etc in support of the Lead Engineer for the Platform, Project or Technical Service. ?

Provide advice on the application of existing technologies in their technical area to new or different uses. ?

Develop test and evaluation plans to assess if a technology meets requirements and has achieved required maturity levels. ?

Interface with industry as the intelligent customer on projects both in a scrutiny role but also supporting the identification of application risks (military environment).

Role Profile

Typical Key Responsibilities. ?

Lead systems engineering, evaluation, performance verification, and demonstrations related to their technical area. ?

Keep abreast of developments and developing options, and opportunities for application within the business. ?
