A world-class games development company is looking for an ambitious Junior Software Developer to join them in carving a unique, exciting path in the gaming industry. You'll be engineering brand new features, from basic prototypes through to robust, reusable systems that underpin all the games they develop. This role is any gaming enthusiast's dream; you will be crafting realistic and expressive characters, innovative game mechanics and smooth responsive control systems for their inventory of AAA projects.

You'll need a keen eye for the smallest of details, and an ability to adapt to the rapidly changing demands of a high-profile game development environment. This Junior Software Developer role would suit an individual with a natural instinct for understanding technical requirements, ability to generate prototypes quickly or produce planning for mission-critical systems, and clear documentation for tech and non tech audiences.

Requirements:

Commercial C++ development experience

Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals

A confident, self-assured communicator who can relay technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

You are truly passionate about games and are serious about having a career in the gaming industry

Nice to have: familiarity with multiple game systems, VAR, motion controller headsets, traditional game mechanics and UI principles, understanding of animation systems, and network coding
