Principle SQL / Oracle DBA Nigel Frank are working with a large name within the North East's public sector. We are recruiting 2 SQL/Oracle DBA's to join the team prior to starting numerous large scale projects. You will be based in Washington and work within a large team of talented professionals managing a huge database filled with complex data. Responsibilities: Design and implement MySQL and Oracle databasesSupport, monitor, and maintain databasesPoint out performance issues and help the development team to address possible problemsHelp define operational procedures to run enterprise level databases from clustering and alerts to backup and restoreReview queries created by developers from a performance and functional perspectiveMonitors major data movement processes in order to guarantee system stability Qualifications: Experience in architecting, implementing and supporting highly available multi terabyte databases on MySQL.Practice Database design, development and data modelling.Experience in configuring, implementing and supporting Golden Gate for data replication between heterogeneous database technologies (MySQL, ORACLE).Expertise in InnoDB cluster/Group Replication, Asynchronous/Synchronous data Replication between MySQL source and target, database server and query performance tuning, Backup, Restore, etc. If you believe you could be a good fit for the role please contact Megan Southern ASAP As the deadline is the first week of November.
