Have you got what it takes?
The responsibilities for this role include; creating clean lightweight code, working alongside a team of developers, creating and refining software specifications and resolving technical issues.
To be successful, you should have extensive experience in building cloud software from scratch. You should also have extensive experience working with Python and Django. Ultimately, you will ensure our systems are up and running to cover both internal and customer needs.
Django / Python Developer Responsibilities:
+ Identify user and system requirements for new software and applications
+ Write or review code for various web applications
+ Run functionality testing and code debugging
+ Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons)
+ Ensure software documentation is up-to-date
+ Collaborate with developers to build mobile-responsive software
+ Communicate with internal team members, clients and third parties at a technical level
About You:
+ In depth knowledge of Python / Django
+ At least two years work experience as a Python Developer across multiple types of projects
+ Experience working with Angular / React
+ A keen eye for detail is essential
+ Well documented and structured code is essential
+ Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
+ Advising on and implementing DevOps best practices
+ Understanding of security practices
+ The ability to work alongside and support external development teams
+ Knowledge of PHP desirable but not essential
+ Familiarity with network diagnostics tools
+ An outside of work interest in emerging technologies
+ Good verbal and written communication skills with solid technical writing abilities
+ Experience with customising SalesForce would be great but not essential
+ BSc/MSc in Computer Science or relevant field
