Software Engineer / Backend Developer (Node REST API WebSockets Linux microservices). As a Software Engineer you will focus on backend development of the core Cryptocurrency / Blockchain platform. You'll be implementing data collection services in a microservices architecture and helping deliver APIs to the Data Science team and clients as well as partnering with client and product managers to come up with new product ideas. You'll gain exposure to a range of technology but will focus on Node.JS, training on the job is available as long as you have the aptitude and desire to learn.

This Software Engineer role presents an excellent opportunity to work in a fast growing industry, learn about cryptocurrency and progress your career through continual learning. You'll be based in Central London within a friendly team environment with casual dress code.

Requirements:

*Strong backend software development experience with OO languages (Java, C++, .Net); happy to use Node.JS going forward (training available)

*Strong experience with REST APIs or WebSockets

*Experience with big data solutions or handling large datasets; PostgreSQL, Redis

*Familiar with Linux OS and microservices architectures

*Collaborative with good communication skills

*Keen interest in Crypto Currencies and Blockchain technology
