A market leading, international manufacturing organisation near Halifax is looking for a Digital Content Manager to join their team. The company are pioneers in their field and their product is used by some of the world's biggest organisations, including Coca-Cola, Yorkshire Tea, BMW and Jaguar, Land Rover DHL and Amazon.
The Digital Content Manager will develop, deliver and optimise the digital content plan across the international business. The focus of the work will be:
*Creating and writing the best digital content to optimise the brand and ranking for all owned digital communications including social media, e-marketing, website and blog.
*Evaluating results and effectiveness; taking action to improve engagement and content where identified.
*Reporting on digital campaigns and updating digital content to keep it fresh and SEO optimised.
*Working with the PPC agency to maximise paid media and optimise ad copy and key words.
*Working with international offices to promote and coordinate local digital marketing and content creation.
Digital Content Creator - Individual responsibilities of the role include:
*Research, write and execute compelling and creative content for a wide range of digital marketing communications
*Ensure all content is SEO friendly and follows brand guidelines and tone of voice
*Research and identify opportunities for greater exposure through digital content marketing
*Monitor content trends and relevant industry news to ensure our approach is up-to-date
*Managing the PPC agency to optimise all paid media accounts and increase leads across all subsidiaries
*Reviewing the performance data from the PPC agency, identifying improvements and coordinate these across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely delivery.
*Creating concise, engaging copy for paid media campaigns and organising translations from global offices
*Planning, creating and implementing social media activity (organic and paid) to grow the social media presence and engagement
*Delivery of all Social Media campaigns: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other digital platforms across all subsidiaries using tools such as Hootsuite
*Creating engaging campaigns and opportunities for interaction with audiences, using paid activity as necessary to reach and engage with target markets
*Joining relevant online communities and forming relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
*Developing, planning and managing email marketing strategies and campaigns, with full compliance to GDPR
*Managing the scheduling, testing and deployment of all email campaigns and full analysis and review.
*Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business's international subsidiaries to promote the benefits of digital marketing and optimised content.
Digital Content Manager - Experience Required:
*3-5 years' experience in a content marketing or writing role or similar.
*Confident, articulate and a track record of end to end digital content management
*Happy to work in a fast paced, agile environment
*Excellent writing skills - passionate about creating engaging and shareable digital content and able to write about technical or complex subjects in an easy to understand way.
*Strong portfolio demonstrating work written for SEO optimised content
*Experience of managing and growing social media accounts using analytics, reporting tools and schedule software e.g. Hootsuite.
*Analytical and decisive
*Takes the initiative and is a creative lateral thinker and problem solver
*Able to build constructive relationships with key stakeholders throughout the international business.
*Willingness to try new things, innovative & pioneering approach
*Promotes an ethos of continuous improvement
