The roleDesign and implement business architecture solutions (at all security classifications up to SECRET) that align to architectural principles and standards.Deliver strategies, roadmaps, blueprints and design patterns for IT architecture.Assist in the creation of a governance model to ensure that business elements of projects, solutions and architectures conform to defined architectural principles and practices.Deliver end to end business architecture that adheres to the Target Operating Model (TOM) Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to business architecture, and support wider programmes and projects;Liaise with projects and business representatives to design and implement solutions in line with the business requirements.Deliver business architecture design documents, and/or complete formal and informal review of design documents provided by others.Develop work packages for business and technical staff (internal and within the supply chain) to deliver the agreed design.Work with the EDA team to create clear and cohesive architecture roadmaps, leading on the business architecture elementsAssist in business related discussions, with key external stakeholders within business and partners.Deliver high-quality artefacts and documentation to support design governance using System Design Reviews (SDR) aligned to the EASE (Enterprise Architecture System Engineering) framework.Submission of updates to the EDA technical leadership team via standard reporting mechanisms.Key skills and experience Ability to write architectural design documents, or review design documents provided by others.Must have a thorough knowledge of the business architecture concepts, business analysis concepts, systems analysis and design concepts working within waterfall / agile/ devops working culture.Experience within Secure Government organisations as a business architect or senior business analyst.Experience in business architecture designing within cloud environments (Azure, AWS).Excellent understanding of Government Security processes and procedures.
