Head of Delivery & Development

West Yorkshire

£80,000 - £90,000 per annum

Newly created role within a fast paced growing product based business. This role will come in to head up part of the Technology team with approx 50 people including all the Developers and Testers. The role will have 3 direct reports including 2 Development Managers and a Test Manager.

You will support the business to move to the next level in its cultural shift/performance gear, without losing step in delivery and will deliver the annual delivery budget and ensure that the business is on track for their business plan and goals.

Experience

* Strong background within software development and managing technology teams

* Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and managing Agile teams

* Preferred technology background would be C# .NET

* Experience in a role that has required you to present and report effectively at Executive and Board level

* You will be a confident communicator at all levels, communicating with gravitas and diplomacy.

* You will be a role model and leader, know what it takes to motivate your team, ensuring they have the right tools to do the job and are delivery focused

* A real strategiser, able to see the bigger picture, but can also understand the technology and challenges

* Able to work collaboratively with all parts of the business, knowing when to support, and when push back

The role will report directly to the CIO and sit within the management structure. This is a role with scope to be part of fast growing business at the start of a full business transformation.
