Do you have experience with an ecommerce platform, oversee updates and testing, liaise with developers for implementation and want to work for a retail market leader?

International Market leader, online retail seller based in Harlow is looking to recruit an Web Manager to work within their e-commerce team. You will be responsible for supporting the development roadmap of all ecommerce websites, which involves monitoring performance, supporting the development of websites and committed to delivering change with high business value.

Skills/Environment:

*Experience with an ecommerce platform (Magento would be beneficial).

*Experience in overseeing updates and testing and liaising with Web Developers with regards to implementation.

*Strong communication skills

*Good technical knowledge of how the internet works as a whole, and also of the components of a website and a webpage and how these components interact.

Desirable:

*Managing 3rd party development agencies.

*Good understanding of the delivery lifecycle and governance process with the ability to identify and manage issues.

*Knowledge of automated testing - e.g. Ghost Inspector.

*Experience in Project Management.

*Degree in Computer Sciences (or equivalent experience)

Role Overview

As the successful Web Manager, you will be responsible for performance monitoring, issues management, website configuration, testing and QA, as well as supporting the international strategy through the implementation and maintenance of localised websites.
