Automation Specialist

My client urgently requires an Automation Specialist to provide services in contract from the customer site in Edinburgh.

Who we are looking for:

* 2-7 years' experience in testing or automated role

o 2 years minimum:

o Automating functional aspects of software

? Web based on 2 browsers

? Stand-alone Executable

? Microsoft*

o Automating regression test sets

o Experience with Behaviour driven test frameworks

o Scripting skills in at least one scripting language

o Programming skills are a plus

? .NET

? Java

o Working with either:

? Infrastructure deployment lifecycle

? Software deployment lifecycle

o Using Issue-tracking tooling

? Jira

? ALM*

? Bugzilla*

? Mantis*

* Has performed manual test execution

* Comfortable estimating effort for work

* Quick learner

* Can inform automation strategy at various test levels, (unit -?UAT)

* Comfortable either leading, or working within a small team
