Business Data Analyst

£38,000 to £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Newcastle upon Tyne

As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Business Systems Analyst (a hybrid Business Analyst / Data Analyst) to join them out of their offices in Newcastle.

As a Business Systems Analyst you will join a focused team delivering business analysis (functional and non-functional systems requirements from operational teams to feed into the IT development lifecycle) and assist with data analysis initiatives within a large dataset environment. Also involvement in UAT.

Essential Skills and Experience Required

-Business Analysis and Data Analysis

-Good SQL Skills

-Understanding of Relational Databases

-Advanced MS Excel Skills

Desirable Skills and Experience Required

-SSRS and SSIS

-Microsoft SQL Server

-Financial Services Industry Experience

-Experience working on IT-related system change projects and BAU, with a broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming

-Agile software development methodologies

Package: Alongside a base salary up to £40,000, you will be entitled to one of the most competitive benefit packages currently in the market: Performance Related Bonus (3/5 = 5-10%, 4/5 = 10-15%, 5/5 = 15%+), Pension Scheme (10% employer contribution), Life Assurance (lump sum 4 times base salary), Income Protection (income of 75% of base salary payable after 26 weeks of absence), Private Healthcare, 26 days holidays (24 until April 2020), some flexible working (after settled into role).
