My client who are a growing, fast paced and dynamic logistics team supplying there customers with complete Logistics and IT solutions are on the lookout for a IT Systems Manager to join their team for a brand new position within the business.

You will come in and focus on their current systems and available logistics specific technology to assess and utilise the latest technology to increase their internal efficiencies and further enhance their customer service.Position- IT Systems Manager

Location- Ipswich

Salary- Competitive

+Continuous improvement and adoption of technology in order to achieve greater efficiency and enhance customer service

+ Project manage implementations

+ Investigate current processes to see if they can be using their systems more effectively/efficiently

+Team training + development and maintenance of manuals and guides for all Systems.

+ Project manage client and supplier integrations

+ Develop their tech package to make it clearer and easier train and inform their team and clients

+ Dramatically reduce data entry across Hemisphere - leading to huge efficiencies, automated documentation etc.

+ Massively enhance the quality of our Data and put it to use for enhanced insight and decision making.

+ Implement an easier integration process between not just customers and them, but suppliers and them, which again will reduce data entry time, but will share information across systems

+ Move their team away from being Data Entry clerks towards being experts in Logistics, customs, supply chain management, able to bring real value and advice to their clients.

+ Provide clients with an online platform to access quotations, bookings, documentation, and with live updates on their shipments

+ For large scale clients they can provide a system which allows their shippers to feed information into the system, approve POs, all working together in a visible transparent supply chain.

+ Manage software and technology providers
