Lockheed Martin works with the UK Government, developing solutions to national security risks working in partnership to deliver the UK's National Cyber Security Strategy. We are a team of experts in the field of cyber security, passionate about what we do, dedicated to research and development and united in working towards a common goal with our cutting-edge projects.

We have a number of interesting permanent opportunities for talented Software Developers to join our Cyber team based in the Gloucester / Cheltenham area. The roles will be responsible for performing a range of software engineering tasks across the development lifecycle including:

Assisting with requirements analysis

Software Design

Implementation

Software Testing

Integration and test activities in support of system upgrades and deployments.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate a proactive and innovative approach to developing technical solutions to complex customer and business / mission problems. This role offers opportunity for frequent interaction with the customer in a technical capacity as well so there is a lot of scope for technical development.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate competence with at least one of the following programming languages / frameworks:

Java, JavaScript, React, AngularJS, NodeJS, Jest and Enzyme

Along with:

Strong OO design skills

Familiarity with the Agile development methodology

Experience of software development in a Unix / Linux environment
