Full Stack Developer / Senior Software Developer (JavaScript Java Node Algorithm REST API Web). Would you like to work on complex systems that provide daily challenges, remain hands-on as part of a senior development team using the latest technologies and have the freedom to make decisions and influence the technology stack?

You could be working on the world's third largest website with 230 million users in over 200 countries. As a Full Stack Developer you'll focus on backend and algorithm development using a variety of languages, tools and technologies in an Agile team environment; primarily OO JavaScript and Node.JS. There's a range of products and projects to get involved with including a highly complex ad tech bidding platform, a custom built CMS and Node services including REST APIs and SSR; you'll also gain exposure to Machine Learning and Big Data systems built in Haskell.

You'll be based in an upmarket area of West London in modern offices with a range of facilities including subsidised restaurant and a professional, friendly team environment.

Requirements:

Strong OO JavaScript development experience combined with Node and / or Java

Strong software engineering background with a good knowledge of complex backend systems

Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Development and Algorithm design

Genuine passion and enthusiasm for technology; potentially contribute to Open Source communities

Collaborative, keen to learn and share ideas, discuss technology choices with the team

Nice to have: Haskell, Clojure, ElasticSearch
