Our client is a specialist provider of data centre, cloud, connectivity and voice solutions. With their own UK data centres, national MPLS network and many strong USPs, their portfolio includes colocation, cloud, connectivity, continuity and collaboration solutions.
They are now looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, install, configure and manage new dedicated cloud infrastructures within their data centres.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Develop code for internal and external projects
- Help to ensure the operational uptime of their cloud services
- Provide operational support for systems within the cloud architecture
- Own any incidents through to resolution and provide root cause analysis
- Leverage the automation framework to improve processes, automate deployment and improve manageability
To be considered as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will need:
- Experience of configuring and managing virtualised and cloud infrastructures
- A strong understanding of storage technologies
- A working knowledge of VMware vCloud Director (vCD)
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Cisco UCS, VMware NSX, Veeam, Zerto, Microsoft technologies, PowerShell/Python scripting, or NetApp FAS, E-Series and SolidFire.
