An exciting pensions business based in the City of London is currently looking to recruit an Investment Risk Analyst.

You will be responsible for measuring, monitoring, analyzing and reporting investment risks (market, liquidity, counterparty credit, leverage, valuation risks, etc.) for funds managed by the client.

You will need to maintain and enhance investment risk data, models, systems and reporting processes for the clients investments and funds in Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure etc.

The company can offer a 37-hour working week, with flexibility in working patterns and continuous personal and professional development.

Skill set required:

* Two years plus of relevant work experience in investment risk, market risk or quantitative analysis in the financial services industry.

* Educated, preferably masters level, in Mathematics, Finance or related Quantitative discipline

* Good understanding of return and risk characteristics of various asset classes, quantitative modelling and time series analysis.

* Good quantitative and programming skills with proficiency in Excel VBA and in R or Python programming is required. Experience in databases is highly desirable.
