Service Architect - Croydon or Bracknell or Basingstoke - 3-6 months Our client, a market leading multi-national technology company are looking for a Service Architect, to join them on a customer project based in either; Croydon, Bracknell or Basingstoke. The assignment is an initial 3 month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate. Role Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, documenting and come to agreements with stakeholders on the ongoing service architecture and model.A major aspect of this role will involve having a detailed understanding of Service design and modelling, as well as evidence of experience & understanding of ITIL (up to L4).As the role will be supporting a Public Sector customer some travel to customer sites around the UK may be expected over the duration of the assignment. Key Skills for this role:Candidates should be able to demonstrate prior experience of in depth service management.You should also be able to provide evidence of recent experience designing and implementing service architectures for complex systems in large government departments or other large organisations.You will be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully taking an evolutionary approach to service architecture and DevOps delivery model.You will be able to build strong communications, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.Candidates will be able to show a broad knowledge of IT as well as an excellent understanding of how support services impact on other business functions.A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered. Skills and Experience:The client is interested in speaking with Candidates who can demonstrate experience of the following:Up to ITIL V4 Expert QualificationExperience with automated configuration management, deployment and testing solutionsExperience with open source solutions and communityKnowledge & experience of Agile development, deployment and operations lifecycleExperience using and deploying on Cloud based platforms & government protective marking of S*Working in a multi-disciplinary team.
