Information Security Manager

One of our financial services clients is seeking an Information Security Manager to join their team in Staffordshire. This is an integral role for the business and requires the successful candidate to have strong hands on information security experience and ideally some management experience; however they will consider a highly experienced Information Security individual who wants to step up in to a management position.

You will be required to assess their current information security set up, analyse suppliers/vendors to see what is best for the business moving forward. You will also be involved with the implementation of new systems/products.

Information Security Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

*Formulating and maintaining all Information Technology and Data Security implementation plans, in conjunction with internal teams

*Designing policies, procedure and controls required to mitigate the information and data security risks across the wider business

*Development of detailed work plans to assess and report the businesses compliance with all of the IT security requirements (cyber essentials/PCI DSS)

*Leading virtual teams and suppliers to analyse the existing/new technology challenges and presenting solutions for approval/further investigation

*Performance of regular platform reviews with reference to ISO 27001

*Assisting the team with implementations

*Continuously improving the MI reporting

As the Information Security Manager you will be required to possess:

*Proven experience with Cyber/Information/Data Security risks

*Previous experience with ensuring platforms/networks/systems delivered and/or developed are highly secure environments

*Strong Privilege Access Management experience, preferably with CyberArk (however other PAM tools will suffice)

*Experience with Data Loss Prevention

*SIEM experience

*Proven experience with hands on information security implementations

*Strong background with information security technology's (firewalls/intrusion detection/assessment tools/ encryption/.certificate authority)

*Previous experience with identifying and accessing management, security policies, processes and procedures

*Previous Cloud experience (Iaas/PaaS/SaaS/Azure)

*Working knowledge and experience of managing and reporting PCI DSS and DPA/GDPR regulation
