A fantastic, dynamic and vibrant company who have been growing year on year for over a decade.DescriptionThis Market Leader within the Insight, Intelligence and technology industry will need a sharp and experienced project manager to deliver the following responsibilities:Delivering senior experience and support to the companies project processes and delivering large scale and high impact projects, alongside management of a team of project managers You'll be working with the Head of Department and the wider business stakeholders ensuring the process of project and programme management within the team is relevant and effective.The portfolio of projects are diverse and include a Commercial, Operational and Technology focus, where over time it will be expected that the projects delivered by the Senior Project Manager will drive a range of business objectives and outcomes across a diverse range of business units.Technology projects are increasingly delivered using the Agile methodology in scrum, so experience in delivering projects within an Agile Framework is highly desirableMain areas of Impact:Plan, execute and deliver large and/or complex projects across the business to transform their products, services, business processes, technology and the customer experienceDevelop plans aligned with team capacity and performance, identifying critical milestones to secure confidence in delivery timelinesManage multiple relationships with key, senior and global stakeholders, in technology, operational and commercial, ensuring their engagement and contribution is maintained and maximised to support the successful delivery of the projectEnsure strong communication throughout the project, delivering full transparency and robust status reporting to all stakeholdersIdentifying challenges and road blocks, leading the path to resolution across your projects and those of your teamExpected to play a key role in establishing, developing and maximising the overall teamperformance and successful ways of working to deliver outstanding resultsWill play a lead role in the evolution and adherence to the companies project process across the team and business ProfileThe ideal candidate for our client will hold below skills and experience:Strong experience within Project Management, leading business critical projects and/or programmesHas successfully delivered a strategically important project, achieving pre-defined and tangible results and business case realisationExperienced and comfortable taking an idea from concept right through to implementation and business readinessExcel in a transformation environmentExcited around working with cutting edge technologyEnjoys working with offshore teams and gaining global experienceLikes working in a fast paced, ever changing, adapting and competitive environmentForward thinking who is able to help shape and develop the capabilities of the system for being future proofSkilled at facilitating requirements gathering and definition, working with both business and technical stakeholders to provide clarity on project deliverables and expected outcomesProven ability to gain traction and engagement in projects with a high level of ambiguity and occurrence of changeSkilled at identifying and tracking cross project dependencies and impacts to plansConfident in building relationships with senior management, developers, solution designers and architects & wider business stakeholdersForthcoming with ideas and sharing information to help benefit the team and wider businessAble to use a consultative approach to suggest ideas, options and solutions, confident in leading workshops and agile ceremonies to help drive decision making and team successIs able to influence stakeholders at all levels, and gain clear engagement and commitment across the businessBe able to communicate on subject mattersFamiliar with agile processesTeam player and true spirit in coaching, guiding and helping othersSomeone who is able to take a vague brief, asking the right questions and then taking it away to build/implementProject manager who can , monitor and risk manageNo budget management involvedHas practical experience of working on software development projects in agile teams and ways of workingIdealling holding a recognised project management qualification, although not essential (e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner or PMI Project Management Professional) or blended agile qualification e.g. Agile project Management CertificationPeople management experience and a history of building highly engaged and motivated teamsExperience of data management and data analysis is desirable however not essential Job OfferSalary up to £55,000 for the exceptional candidateLeading one of the flagship projects within the companies programmeAnnual IncentivesCompany was the entered into the 'UK's Best Workplaces 2018'Free Fresh Fruit in the officeSpacious and open plan office, with a quirky and vibrant atmospherePool table
