The Company 

Our client is a dynamic IT support company focused on providing continuous uptime to the restaurant, entertainment and wide hospitality industry. 

Firmly at the forefront of this niche sector, they have partnered with Microsoft, Cisco and HP and have strong relationships with some of the biggest solution providers serving the restaurant sector. 

They're now looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team and provide an excellent service to customers.

What's more, once into your role, if you wish to gain qualifications, the company will sponsor you through your professional exams to gain Microsoft or CompTIA certifications. 

Your Role 

As an IT Support Technician, you will be tasked with providing IT support to customers. 

As part of a front-line team, you will log incidents and requests and aim to resolve around 60% of issues and queries via the phone. 

Your day-to-day activities will include: 

- Installing computer hardware, operating systems and applications 
- Remotely monitoring customers' systems and networks 
- Resolving and diagnosing issue remotely, via the phone or at customers' sites 
- Responding to call-outs within agreed timescales 
- Building relationships with customers 

About You 

To be considered as an IT Support Technician, you will need: 

- A minimum of six months' IT support experience OR a proven passion for technology 
- Great problem-solving skills 
- A strong focus on customer service 
- A close attention to detail
