AMS Verification Engineer - Western Germany

A growing start-up company is looking for an experienced AMS Verification Engineer to join their design team based in the West of Germany. In this position you will be responsible for the AMS Verification of Analog ICs for high speed links.

Your profile:

Industry degree qualified, the successful AMS Verification Engineer will have at least 3 years of experience in AMS Verification including the following skills:

SystemVerilog, Verilog RTL, Verilog-AMS and Verilog-A,

Experience developing behavioural models of mixed signal Systems,

Familiarity with the Cadence Analog Design Environment (ADE-L/ADEXL/ Maestro), ideally using the AMS simulator,

Analog circuit design, transient, DC, AC simulation and Monte Carlo analysis basics,

Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre circuit simulator, Incisive and AMS simulators experience,

Basic understanding of Analog IC's like voltage references, current references, LDOs, PLLs, Bandgap, OPAMPs, and others.

Good problem-solving ability, being able to both leverage existing knowledge effectively and learn new tools/techniques where needed,

Good communication skills, in particular the ability to effectively work in cross disciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic development Environments as well as contribute ideas.

Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
