My client is looking for 2x Java Developers to come and join them on a 6 month contract, at their headquarters in Sheffield.This is a very hands on role where you'll be responsible for developing open source RESTful web systems. You will be responsible for building automated tests to support the client's continuous deployment environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for helping to mentor and coach more junior developers.
To be successful, you will need to be experienced with:
Technical stack basics:
Strong affinity for automated testing, pair programing and test driven deployment (TDD) practicesUNIX environments, BASHHTML, CSS, GitJavascript:
Extensive experience with programming; specifically NodeJSUnderstanding of asynchronous programming, closures, types and ES6Practical experience with restful API's Experience of solving problems using microservicesKnowledge of creating progressive web applications using frameworks such as React.js, Vue or angular (React preferred)Java:
