Head of Marketing - Planning - LONDON - £650 - £700 Head of Marketing - Planning - LONDON - £650 - £700 The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 6 months contract.The pay rate on offer is between £650 - £700 per day.The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.RETAIL / FMCG EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Key accountabilities of the role includeTo lead the development of the overarching annual marketing strategy, working with senior leaders within the business to ensure that the plan is commercially robust, aligned to business unit priorities and budget is allocated appropriately based on ROI measures.Leads the budget planning process for the department, ensuring that all spend is appropriately reviewed and delivered against the required metrics. Tracks regularly, in partnership with Finance Business Partner to ensure we are delivering to plan.Leads the quarterly planning process, ensuring that robust insight led decision making is taking place, driving alignment of business unit agendas and leading the process through to delivery.Defines and leads the marketing planning process working across marketing as well as the key contact for the Clothing and Home division into Foods.Leads the Trade Planning process, working with Central Planning and .COM, supporting the Marketing function in delivering trading priorities by managing the flow of information in and out of the wider marketing team, ensuring that all activity is delivered as agreed.Ensure that team drive the completion of the marketing calendar by relevant stakeholders and all activity is tracked and delivered as required.Sets strategy for marketing prioritisation, productivity enhancements, and process improvements and works with the team to deliver and execute these.Represents marketing at key senior leadership meetings and supports the department in prioritisation of activity and key commercial decision making.Manages the monthly strategic reporting and CEO reporting processes.Leads setting and monitoring of KPIs for department. Key experienceExperience working within Retail / FMCG environmentsArticulation of Customer Plan in line with the C&H buying calendar to ensure alignment between marketing activity and commercial priorities.Marketing programs delivered on time and to budgetFinancial risks and opportunities identified and managedTeam remain motivated and delivering as required
