Are you an established Electro-mechanical fitter? Do you have experience in the repair, rebuild and re-installation of High Voltage motors and generators? My client are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Fitter on a permanent basis to work on High Voltage rotating machines.The successful candidate will hold a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering or similar (or extensive industry experience), A good knowledge of AC/DC motors and associated equipment and be familiar with various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment including single phase, three phase, wound stators and transformers.On offer here is an excellent permanent role with a leading international engineering business that offers extensive development and progression. The role:* On site visits to install or remove AC/DC motors and associated equipment

* Rewind various electro-mechanical equipment and record test results

* Operating specialised repair and testing equipment, including winding machines, test panels, surge testers, grinders, bake ovens, dip tanks and VPI systems amongst others.

The person:* Formal apprenticeship trained in electro mechanical engineering or similar

* Experience Stripping and rewinding of AC/DC Motors and other electro-mechanical equipment

* Experience of operating specialised test and repair tools including: winding machines, test panels, surge testers, grinders, bake ovens, dip tanks and VPI systems amongst others.
