Automation Tester

One of our Data Intelligence specialist clients is looking for 4 Automation Testers to join their growing teams based in one of their offices. These roles can be based from either Nottingham, Liverpool, Chester, Worcester, London or Edinburgh. You will be responsible for automating the testing of web, mobile and API projects, ensuring that the functionality of the system is fully covered in the automation test suite.

They are looking for individuals who want to make an impact on the testing environment within the business and someone who will take a proactive approach to finding the best, and most effective ways to undertake testing within the team and wider business.

Automation Tester duties will include, but not limited to:

*Taking responsibility for the automation testing of the internally developed software.

*Developing and maintaining automation test cases

*Reviewing and analysing the business and functional requirements , following test plans to produce test scripts

*Producing test suites using Selenium Web Driver, Java bases REST, Appium

*Producing quality test documentation (test plans, test scripts, traceability)

*Attending project kick off meetings

* Producing reports of the testing conducted

*Reporting any issues identified to your line manager

As the Automation Tester you will be required to possess:

*ISTQB/ISEB certified

*A strong knowledge of Java/Java related libraries is essential

*Previous experience working with API Automation (REST and SOAP), Selenium Automation

*A working knowledge of behaviours driven development frameworks (BDD), Cucumber etc.

*A good knowledge of testing frameworks - Java, jUnit, TestNG, C#, .Net, Nunit

*Knowledge of scripting languages - VB/Java/Shell

*Previous experience writing SQL queries would be advantageous

*Experience developing automation scripts for end-to-end scenarios and maintaining automation suites

*Knowledge of the Code Review process
