£455 per dayMy client based in Bradford is searching for an experienced Test Manager for an initial 3 month contract.Role Profile

The role is for a Test Lead to join a project focused on delivering a variety of data and advanced analytics heavy solutions. The role will require working with several Business/Data Analysts and Technical/Design Leads in order to plan and execute the test approach as well as supervise a Test Analyst. This role will also require hands-on testing. The project is data heavy so will require a candidate with solid experience testing data solutions at the data layer as well as experience testing advanced analytical/predictive models.Key Responsibilities- Must be hands on capable of managing testing as well as doing testing.

- Capable of working across multiple workstreams.

- Pragmatic approach to testing for pilot/experimental evaluation projects, whilst also experienced in delivering fully tested solutions, under pinned by comprehensive and appropriate testing, in to Operational environments within a regulated industry with prescriptive governance

-Leading test preparation activities such as defining scope/scenarios, ensuring data is ready and dependencies are understood and in-place.

- Overseeing testing activities, including daily reporting of progress and management and resolution for defects.Skills & Experience* Proven experience as a Test Lead/Manager and demonstrable experience of successful testing and delivery.

* Experience testing data solutions at the data layer - SQL skills will be a must.

* Experience testing advanced analytical models and predictive models.

* Experience testing visualisation rich dashboards and underlying data/models.

* Ability to create a test plan which takes into account data requirements, test script requirements, resource allocation and planning

* Support the design and development test scenarios/scripts for functional testing

* Coordination of testing activities (including preparation) during every stage of the test process with business Management/co-ordination of testing activities

* Experience with test tools such as Jira/HP QC

* Ability to develop and document;

- A test strategy across the suite of projects we have

- Test plans for each workstream

- Functional and non-functional testing

- Test Entry/Exit criteria

- Co -ordinate the compilation of and contribute to the creation and running of test scripts for regression, E2E system and integration test, UAT

- 3rd party application testing

- Plan and Manage test environments

- Capture test environment requirements and co-ordinate environment configuration including data preparation.

* Experience of testing in areas of data analytics and telemetry systems

* Experience of Power BI, OSI Soft PI, SQL
