Initial 12 month Server Infrastructure Engineer contract in Sydney CBD working on projects and BAU activities with one of Australia's largest Finance Companies.Essential Requirements Extensive experience in the management of varioustechnological solutions including:Windows Server and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization including clusteringMicrosoft Active Directory environment (Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory Federation Services) integrated with System Centre solutions (System Centre Operations Manager, System Centre Configuration Manager, System Centre Virtual Machine Manager)Microsoft Direct Access, IIS, Exchange and SQL serversMicrosoft Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Project Online, PowerBI, Intune and Teams)General Wintel skills on scripting and automation (PowerShell), antivirus, email security gateway and web proxy solutionsExcellent technical knowledge and experience in managing various aspects of Microsoft Azure, covering all resource types and proper security of these assets such as Azure AD, Multi Factor Authentication service, app service, SQL database, storage account, network security group, application gateway, Azure DevOps.Experience in supporting server and storage infrastructure (such as HP Server and HP Storage area network) and backup technologies (Veeam and Veritas NetBackup).Experience in leading IT infrastructure related projects such as hardware or application upgrades and implementation of new technology solutions.Desirable to have experience in managing Avaya PABX and call centre management system.Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certification.If you feel you fit the description please apply
