Data Engineer / Developer (SQL T-SQL NoSQL ETL C# .Net). Global financial software house is seeking a highly technical Data Engineer to help design and develop a new web based client access portal to allow the client to analyse a comprehensive repository of historical trading data. You'll be working with a range of technologies from SQL / T-SQL to NoSQL data stores and ETL Data Warehouse solutions within a .Net technology stack.

You'll be based in the City with a collaborative software house environment, modern open plan offices with free breakfast, drinks and snacks and quiet break out areas; you can also enjoy a good work / life balance with flexible working.

Requirements:

Experience with SQL and relational databases as well as NoSQL data stores (time-series, preferably OneTick / OneMarketData), data semantics and modelling (preferably SQL Server)

Experience using SQL and T-SQL

Ability to code with an OO programming language, C# .Net preferred (C++ and Java also considered)

Data Warehouse / ETL experience

Collaborative, keen to learn and share ideas
