PLM Administrator - Windchill

My client is currently seeking a strong Windchill Administrator who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Extended Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Team. The Windchill Administrator will be involved in support of a Windchill system for business users for tasks and activities such as changing attributes, perhaps adding a new workflow, adding a lifecycle state, creating new reports to be run by the users etc. The Windchill administrator will be dealing with large, high profile clients in the automotive, defense, and manufacturing industries and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client's complex needs.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge.  RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

'€¢Good understanding of the Windchill PLM platform and it's architecture from support standpoint.'€¢Good knowledge in Windchill configurations, maintenance and support related activities.'€¢Has had hands on exposure for Windchill administrative activities such as changing attributes, perhaps adding a new workflow, adding a lifecycle state, creating new reports to be run by the users etc.'€¢Pro-active in troubleshooting and seeking resolutions for business user's issues.'€¢Developing relationships with the clients and supporting them during the project lifecycle support.'€¢Meeting with and utilizing teammates' expertise to maximize project efficiency'€¢Documenting methods and lessons learned

  EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:  

'€¢Ability to work on UK Government contracts required (UK Citizen)'€¢5- 7 years of experience in support UK based aerospace projects.'€¢Some travel may be required'€¢Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industry'€¢Experience with Java programming'€¢Professional experience in software implementation is a plus'€¢Web-based development experience (JSP, Javascript, MVC, Spring) preferred'€¢In Depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferred'€¢Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus
