Manufacturing Engineer role on offer with a rapidly expanding company that develop highly bespoke electro-mechanical products and will give you the chance to work on cutting edge new developments.

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for electronic products? Do you have experience being involved in concept to completion of assemblies and parts?

The company specialise in the design, development, manufacture and sale of pioneering technical equipment across the global market and have recently expanded into Virtual/Augmented reality. They have expanded rapidly over the last few years and have plans to continue this growth by expanding their R&D sector by bringing in a Manufacturing Engineer to work on products from research through to initial prototype.

In this varied role you will be responsible for full life cycle design of small scale, intricate electro-mechanical products. Liaising with other departments, you'll be involved in the manufacture of bespoke, highly intricate products using a range of equipment from mills to 3D printers, as well as developing new methods of testing and protocols to improve production efficiencies and output.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on manufacturing engineer skilled at high precision engineering with a genuine passion for high-tech development and research of AR & VR technologies.

The Role:

* Full life cycle manufacture of cutting-edge products

* Small scale design of intricate plastic/metal mechanisms and parts

* Measurement of parts using 3D metrology

* Working with design team and other departments to ensure designs meet specs and standards

* Integration of various manufacturing processes

* £40'000 - £45'000 + Training + Development + Private Healthcare

The person:

* Experience as a high-level manufacturing engineer

* Knowledge of assemblies/parts/mechanisms

* Full life cycle experience

* A genuine passion for VR/AR technologies

* Lives with a commutable distance of Oxford or willing to relocate
