Validation Engineer (Time of Flight Systems)

I am working with a global consumer electronics client for an engineer to assist them on a UE project for an initial 6 months contract based in Belgium. My client work on the design and testing of optical functions for systems such as, visual unlocking and locking for smartphones, control systems within the automotive industry, gaming experiences and more.

Within this position, you will be working on the validation for "time of flight" camera systems and working with other engineering teams to bring the concept to reality. Being responsible for a range of systems such as electronic, software, optical, mechanical, etc, you will be developing your own experience within "time of flight" systems for the validation tests of the product to enable the integration across consumer electronic experiences.

To be considered for this position I am looking for:

Engineering degree (masters or equivalent accepted)

Validation experience for an R&D company

Optical/Sensor industry experience

Cross-functional skills within electronics, software, hardware, etc.

Fluent in English reading & writing

Methodical, team player, who is organised and good time management
