Role: User Researcher

Length: 90 working days

Location: Newport

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Exciting opportunity for a User Researcher to plan, design and carry out research activities with users, to help teams get a deep understanding of the people that use government services.

Essential Skills/Experience:

* Can plan user research for services with challenging user needs and complex user journey

* Understands and can help teams apply a range of methods to analyse research data and synthesise findings

* Can help teams understand the diversity of users of government services

* Understands and has experience of a range of user centred practices

Desirable Skills/Experience:

* Has some knowledge of current technologies used to build and operate digital services. Understands the different technical roles in a digital team.

* some knowledge of current design principles and technologies used. Understands different design specialisms across services and collaborate effectively, taking a basic role in solution design based on user needs.
