Senior Pensions De-risking Consultant

London

Up to £90,000 per annum

I am supporting a specialist de-risking practice to recruit to appoint qualified actuary to play a key role in broking some of the largest and most exciting insurance transactions in the market.

This team of industry professionals and experts has extensive experience in this space, advising both a range of clients on both the strategy and implementation of de-risking transactions.

In this role Senior Pensions De-risking Consultant, your role will involve liaising and negotiating with re/insurers, attending insurer meetings, and building strong relationships with the wider market as well as (re)insurers and other advisors. Responsibilities will also include presenting at client meetings and contributing to the wider business e.g. thought leadership and attending bi-weekly team meetings, networking events and conferences, and new business tenders.

I am looking for:

* Qualified actuary

* Experience in consultancy or at a bulk annuity provider

* Experience of working on de-risking transactions - buy-ins, buy-outs, Longevity Swaps

* Knowledge of UK pensions market
