Cloud Data Engineer Nigel Frank are working with a market leading retail company based in Leicester. We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Azure experience to join a fast paced, collaborative team consisting of the finest Developers, Architects and Data Scientists in the industry. As the demand for data grows the company have decided to migrate from on premise servers to Microsoft Azure. The role as a Data Engineer will require you to develop cloud based data engineering solutions and methods along with restructuring current SQL based procedures. You will play a key part in full project life cycle development starting from gathering technical requirements, development testing along with documentation and manging time scales ensuring the migration project runs smoothly. The ability to cope well under pressure and manage agile time scales is essential. You will help mentor and upskill fellow team members. Likewise you will be provided with a tailored development plan to help keep you moving forward with your career, opportunities such as progression is a key factor of the role.
