£40K - £55K + bonus and excellent benefits

My client, a successful Software House based in Ilkley are seeking an experienced BI Developer (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS. T-SQL) to join their small team of BI Developers. You will be working with the company Data Warehouse and using the Microsoft BI platform to deliver data, as well as providing information and reports.

The role will involve working with the latest Microsoft BI technologies and supporting the design, modelling and construction of the corporate data warehouse, supporting data marts, and reporting infrastructure.

You will need to have good exposure and experience working with the following areas;

*Creating multi-dimensional data warehouse environments, as well as implementing data integration and migration solutions, including data quality assessment and data profiling.

*ETL implementation experience, including; stored procedures, and SSIS package creation and data capture procedures.

*Data architecture such as UML and database design skills using both relational and multi-dimensional modelling in data warehouse /OLTP/OLAP environments.

*Administration and maintenance experience of Live BI Architectures including; Performance Tuning and technical issue resolution

Key skills;

*SQL Server 2008/2010/2012

*SSIS

*SSRS

*SSAS

*T-SQL

*ETL

*Data Warehouse tools (such as; OLTP, OLAP, MOLAP, ROLAP)

It would also be massively beneficial to have knowledge of some or all of the following skills; PowerBI, Microsoft certifications (MCSE) or BI Qualifications and methodologies such as; Kimball or Inmon etc…

As well as a good combination of the above skills, it is imperative that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
