IT Systems Engineer, great opportunity to lead the IT division and expand your IT Skills. As the IT Systems Engineer you will work for on-site at our client based in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity for the IT Systems Engineer to expand their IT Skills and manage and lead a department!

My client works with Cloud, Big Data, IoT are a great technology company! They are looking for someone to lead their IT division and to make sure they have a best in class IT set up!

There will be the responsibility to mentor junior staff and have a direct report. My client is looking to hire someone who has a great understanding of Linux, Infrastructure and networking. They are keen for you to bring your expertise to the table and listen to your views and opinions! Key Skills:

-Networking - Switches, VLANs, IP Protocols etc

-Linux- Ubuntu, Debian,

-Infrastructure- Windows, Active Directory, Window Server, Office365, Hyper-V, Exchange

-Security- ISO27001, Dell Firewalls, VPN}

-Network MonitoringKey Responsibilities:

-Leading the IT team from a hands-on point of view

-Continuous improvement to the network

-Dealing with urgent IT (networking, Linux and Infrastructure) issues

-Design, implementation, support etc

-Responsibility for junior IT staff
