IT Support EngineerLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne Start date: ASAPSalary: £24,000 - £30,000 Sector: Technology My client seeks a well rounded technical individual who has excellent customer facing skills for the role of IT Support Engineer. Your responsibilities may include:Supporting customers on a variety of different projectsProviding on site as well as in house IT supportEnhancing the clients knowledge of their IT systemsSupporting a wide range of businesses (both small and large)Support management and upkeep of internal company systems Essential skills include experience with:Working within a 2nd line support roleWorking in a customer facing environmentMicrosoft Windows server and client operating systemsOffice 365Microsoft OfficeMobile access to business emailAntivirus / anti-spam/ anti-spywareFull UK driving licenceDegree or professional qualification in IT related discipline Furthermore this client expects their employees to have great communication skills, a positive and constructive approach to working alongside being driven and willing to pass industry appropriate accreditations.**Experience with remote desktop services, cloud services, Microsoft exchange and server virtualisation is desirable**Salary and Benefits:Salary is between £24,000 - £30,000 dependants on experienceFormal on the job training leading to industry qualifications e.g. MCSEQuarterly profit related bonusPension scheme22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with length of service) If you are interested in applying to this opportunity please send your CV over as soon as possible.
