Chief Risk Officer / CRO / SMF4 / FC 21 / FC 19 / Bank / Banking / Financial Services / Central London / Contract / £625-£725 / 3 Month Rolling

The Client:

*The client is a well established Financial Services company based in central London. They are currently recruiting for a Chief Risk Officer to join their business on a contract basis.

The Responsibilities:

*Monitor, enhance and embed the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in order to manage risk across the Bank.

*Middle Office (FC 21) - Responsible for providing effective risk management controls

*Senior management Responsibility's include; The firms recovery plan; firms internal stress test

*Oversee the update of policies as appropriate

*Work and co-ordinate plans with the CEO to mitigate potential threats at all levels as well as liaising with other departments as required

*This role will hold SMF4

The Requirement:

*Knowledge of UK banking and regulatory framework

*Knowledge of current accounting practices

*Deep understanding of credit risk, bonds and fixed income securities

*Previous experience of risk management factors associated with a property led lending portfolio

*Understanding of Risk Analysis and risk metrics

*Previous experience of working with senior Executive Board Directors/ Management Boards

*Experience working with FC 21 (Middle Office) and FC 19 (Customer Complaints Handling)
