2nd line Service Desk Consultant - Bellshill - up to £32,000 (DOE)Great opportunity with one of Reeds core Bellshill client. My client is looking for a 2nd line service desk consultant. This role will include remotely analysing and resolving incidents using remote access software.This role is one a 24/7 shift patter the shifts are conducted into:Day Shift - Core working hours in work placeNight Shift - Covering night shift remotely (home)The role:Liaise with partners and third parties to aid in the resolution of incidentsResolve incidents using remote access tools and verbal instructionsEnsure customers tickets are responded to within SLAUpdate ticketing systemTraining new staffCompetency/Skills Required:An excellent knowledge of a server and networked environment.Virtualisation experienceStrong desktop support experience.Understanding of Firewall, anti-virus and other security technologies.Routing and Switching.Microsoft Exchange and office 365.Enterprise Anti-Virus software, e.g. SophosExcellent problem solving and analytical skills with a confident pro-active approach to work.Cloud based backup solutions.A good understanding of Backup technologies.telephonyExperience Required:5 years desktop experiencePerks of the Job:Development opportunitiesGreat working environmentRelaxed dress codeGenerous holiday allowance
