Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Narberth, PembrokeshireSalary: Competitive dependant on experienceJob Type: Full time, PermanentClosing date: Thursday 31st October 2019The Company:The Park, located in 80 acres of idyllic setting of Pembrokeshire, West Wales, has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join its team as a Maintenance Technician.Job Duties:The Engineer/ Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within Rides Maintenance ensuring rides are safe, fully operational and to maximise performance, availability and reliability of rides.They are committed to ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages, and to providing a safe and fulfilling working environment for employees and contractors working at the attraction and/or activities relating to the operation of the attraction.They are looking for individuals who are professional and friendly with a positive approach to their work at all times. those who can work with, and alongside, other departments to ensure the highest levels of health and safety throughout the park.Key Responsibilities:They are looking for responsible and reliable team members who are dependable and hard working. You should be a real team player with strong communication skills, plenty of enthusiasm and energy. They are looking for someone who has the ability to 'think on their feet' and take ownership of any issues that may arise.You will need to have completed a recognised apprenticeship and/or hold recognised qualification(s) in a relevant engineering discipline. For example: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3/BTEC/ONC/HNC and be experienced in reactive and planned works in Mechanical Systems and Equipment. You should have a proven track record in hands on fault finding, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary, analyse technical drawings and have close attention to detail.Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities are essential within this role. They are looking for individuals who are results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
