UX/UI DesignerIpswich3-6 Months Our client is a British multinational telecommunication holding company. It has operations in around 180 countries and is the largest provider of fixed-line, broadband and mobile services in the UK, and provides subscription television and IT services. Responsibilities:Work as part of a development team to deliver delightful digital user experiences to our customers and employees for customer facing and internal products and services.You will take ownership of creating and delivering detailed designs into an agile sprint development environment for either products/services as a whole or components within a larger development.Essential Skills:Excellent understanding of user-centred design principles and practices including an appreciation of the attention to detail of the impact to the wider E2E experience of the product or service under designExpert knowledge of UX design tools such as AxureProficient knowledge of responsive design and accessibilityDemonstrable experience of wireframing, prototyping and usability researchUnderstanding of Agile and sprint-based developmentWork collaboratively with front end/back end developers, product owners and the wider development/digital team to deliver the best possible customer experience.Ability to balance user needs with technical and business requirements. You should be able to look for innovative ways to satisfy constraintsStrong communication skills to understand and challenge requirements, constraints and business/user needs as well as communicate designs and influence decision makingDesirable Skills:Strong understanding of design including layout, typography and colour with an eye for detailKnowledge of Sketch, InVision and other UI prototyping and delivery toolsExperience working on telecommunication related products and servicesExperience working on complex, Enterprise level products and service developments with multiple user type Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
