Business Analyst - Insurance - Sydney Contract Progressive Recruitment is working with one of our key Sydney based clients and resourcing for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on an initial six month contract with potential to extend. The business analyst will sit in the policy migration program as the business separates their Life Insurance arm.The purpose of this role is to provide analytical, problem solving and testing of actuarial calculations for the organisations Life Insurance products within the Project Testing team that supports the migration to a new Policy Administration System (PAS). Necessary Skills:5 years experience as a Business Analyst2-3 years experience in Insurance (Life & Product)Perform analysis and review complex formulas in actuarial calculationsIdentify suitable business scenarios with risk based principles for testingPrepare and collate required system go-live dataBe thorough with documentation, ensuring traceability and approvals are evidencedArticulate the process and test outcomes to key stakeholders including business stakeholders, actuaries, product managers, tax consultants and program / project members.Drive the testing sign off / approval processPersonal Attributes:Able to pick up and understand landscape quicklyTake ownership of workBuild rapport and relationships quicklyAnalytical mindsetAble to work in a changing environmentAble to prioritiseIf you have the necessary skills and experience for this exciting opportunity, please apply now.
