Due to the increased demand within the business we are looking to hire a talented Support Team Leader to assist the DevOps function with a number of key clients.
Working in IT Operations, we are looking for a team leader for a 3rd line support team, supporting a set of Kubernetes platforms deployed on physical infrastructure in highly secure data centres. Work is based in Basingstoke, with occasional trips to London.
The team leader is expected to be technically competent on the technology to be able to work independently, but needs to manage the team to provide an excellent service to the customer.
Please note that in order to be considered for this role you will need to be eligible for enhanced SC Clearance.
Skills and Experience:
Hands-On admin/support experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux (CoreOS, Centos, Ubuntu)Worked in support of on-premise infrastructureScripting experience - ideally BashVersion control with GitBasic knowledge of IT networksTeam assignments managementVendor managementAbility to work in cross functional teams and influence the outcome.Scrum Agile MethodologyWorking knowledge on any Service Management tool (ServiceNow, Microsoft Service Manager)Familiarity with ITILFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and toolsKnowledge of Open Source dynamicsKnowledge of ELKKey Responsibilities:
