An established Midlands based organisation is seeking a Magento Certified Developer to develop e-Commerce applications in PHP and Magento You will play a pivotal role in leading a small team of developers as well as making strategic decisions on business critical projects and the future road map of the organisation Client DetailsThe client are a Midlands based organisation with an established reputation, both online and on the high street with an annual turnover of ca. £230 million Your role will have a direct impact on company performance, boosting sales revenue and contributing to business insights You will be expected to contribute new ideas, deliver deadlines and lead on a number of projects, such as improving UI/UX, updating architecture and upgrading payment systemsDescriptionYou will manage a small onshore team of developers - Reviewing code and ensuring work is completed on time Managing business critical projects and engaging with senior stakeholders for update meetings Enhancing and styling both static sites as well as developing and redeveloping Magento platform Engaging with digital marketers, designers, products owners outside of the development teamProfileYou will either be a senior level Magento developer looking for their next step into a more strategic and managerial position with more responsibilities or a lead level Magento developer/consultant looking for a new opportunity in a challenging, fast paced environment You must be able to manage your time wisely, working on business critical projects to strict deadlines You will be at home in an Agile (SCRUM) environment and project management experience is highly desirable You will have experience in LAMP and Magento (M2) development (certification highly desirable) You will be able to translate technical jargon into plain English for non-technical terminology for technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholdersJob OfferA competitive salary Generous pension scheme 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays Company benefits, including discounts and healthcare
