Procurement Lead- IT

Birmingham

£40000 - £50000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a Procurement Lead with a focus on IT categories on behalf of a Client I am working with who are based in Birmingham. The role will focus on working with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and develop and implement strategies to support and deliver SLAs and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Representing the Procurement function at meetings and monthly reviews

* Owning/developing and implementing plans which are aligned with functional and business unit priorities

* Promoting and implementing sustainable procurement practices

Key Experience:

* A level standard education, with MCIPS qualification being an advantage (or equivalent)

* Atleast 3 years procurement experience (preferably of IT categories)

* Experience working in the FM/Construction sector is an advantage

* General understanding of contract law and terms of conditions of contract

* Understanding of supply markets

* Proven track record in negotiation and stakeholder management
